Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar on Monday launched his own sportswear and cricket equipment range in association with Australian sporting gear and equipment company Spartan Sports International.
Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and Spartan International unveiled the ‘Sachin by Spartan’ range, featuring three unique collections at an event in Mumbai. The collection starts with the Sachin range, moving up to the Performance line and lastly the premium Sachin Signature edition, all of which are consistent across cricket equipment and sportswear.
Priced between Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 40,000, the collections will be available at multi-brand sports retail stores across the country and Spartan’s own e-commerce platform. The Sachin by Spartan range was launched after an extensive process in the design as well as manufacturing stage with Sachin and his team, with each item of clothing and cricket equipment, personally approved by Sachin Tendulkar.
According to Spartan, the collection also features a number of unique equipment design traits which were personally adapted by Sachin himself, throughout his career.
“I was keen that there be no compromise on quality and I believe that clothing must be stylish and yet comfortable,” Sachin Tendulkar said. “I am thrilled to be working in conjunction with Spartan and excited to be part of this launch where we have showcased products that are a perfect blend of safety, style and comfort.”
The company is also planning to launch its exclusive stores in India starting next month. “We are opening our exclusive stores in India, starting with Delhi and Mumbai, next month. We will retain the products in all the leading cricketing nations and all major stores in India as well,” said Ravi Thakran, chairman of Spartan Sports.
