“Madam, you have once again proved your keenness in the development of Tirupur industry and in the memorandum presented to the prime minister you have sought his personal intervention to arrange for release of 13th Finance Commission grant an amount of Rs 200 crore for completion of 18 common effluent treatments plants in Tirupur to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge and make them fully functional.

Sakthivel also appreciated the chief minister for requisition made to expedite the release of the pending subsidy under the TUF scheme which would be helpful for the units to meet their financial commitments and also have better production planning and control.
