Kolkata-based Soul Space to open 20 stores by 2020

A Kolkata-based fashion brand Soul Space, known for producing environment friendly and is also Fairtrade certified garments has open its first store recently in Pune, India. The brand is also planning to open 20 more stores in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad by fiscal 2019-20.

Franchise-based and company-owned stores will be opened by the brand soon. Soul Space has been retailing its products in India through e-commerce platforms such as Myntra, Jabong and Amazon in addition to its own website.

All Soul Space products are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified. It means that the method and materials used by the brand in the production of its apparel, lessen the impact on the environment and does away with pesticides and toxic chemicals.

Rajat Jaipuria, Director, Living Green Fashions Pvt. Ltd. said that the Soul Space gives new generation garments that tell a new story as they are marching towards a revolution. He said, “The clothing range offered by the brand helps customers to reduce carbon footprint and give back to earth with clothing that is ethically made.”

The brand encourages the farmers to support noble cause and spread the message to care of people and the planet by wearing rational fashion.

“Sustainable fashion is about being kind to our environment, sensible with our resources and treating our fellow garment workers like human beings. We believe that all fashion should be made fairly, transparently and ethically,” the Director added.
