High street menswear brand Wrogn co-owned by cricketer Virat Kohli has opened its exclusive brand outlet in Hyderabad. The brand which started by retailing at Shoppers Stop outlets and online retail portal Myntra had indicated the launch of 10 exclusive stores pan-India.
The brand which is owned by Universal Sportsbiz Pvt Ltd (USPL), known for its celebrity fashion lines, had raised Rs 46 crore from Accel Partners in 2015 for its pan-India expansion. Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar holds equity in USPL.
“Wrogn as a growing brand has seen great success in the brick and mortar format in Shoppers Stop in over 30 cities. I am sure in times to come Hyderabad will accommodate more counters,” Anjana Reddy, CEO of USPL said.
