International clothing company PVH Corp-owned Insignia Design Group has partnered with American menswear and womenswear maker G-III Apparel Group to launch a new line of neckwear under the latter’s swimwear label Vilebrequin.
About the collection, David Sirkin, president, Dress Shirts for PVH, who is also responsible for the operation of Insignia, said, “We are excited to team up with a brand like Vilebrequin that is synonymous with iconic prints and high quality product.”
“One of the strongest trends across the men’s fashion and accessories category is prints. We believe consumers will embrace the adaptation of Vilebrequin’s prints from swimwear to neckwear,” he said.
Printed and made in Italy, the line will include ultra-light weight double woven lining integrated neckties, printed classic silk twill bowties and silk twill or silk/cotton voile crafted pocket squares.
