To celebrate the debut retail association with Indian designer duo Hemant and Nandita, the multi-brand boutique Kitsch and its e-commerce division Rocknshop.com recently hosted a fashion parade showcasing the talented design pair’s latest Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
Titled ‘The Knot’, the range is a fine balance between traditional layouts and contemporary silhouettes meant for young, free-spirited, sporty yet sensuous women who love to embrace their true selves with comfortable, trendy and luxurious designs.
About the show, Rocknshop’s CEO, Priya, said, “We are pleased to offer a dekko to fashion enthusiasts in the city of what is one of the most exciting collections this season, Hemant and Nandita’s label. Not only do our patrons get an exclusive preview of these ultra luxurious brands, they also get a good idea of what’s going to be in vogue for the upcoming fashion season.”
Commenting on the maiden retail venture with the boutique, Hemant revealed, “We are very excited to launch our collection at Kitsch and Rocknshop. It is an honour for us to be stocked amidst the extremely inspiring international designer collections that we have always loved.”
“Our label has always been synonymous with prints, however, there is so much more that our garments represent. Now that the garments will be easily accessible across the Kitsch stores, people will be able to physically experience all the elements that constitute our garments,” Nandita said.
Known for their expertise in conjuring indo-western styles, Hemant and Nandita have dressed several Bollywood celebs including Minissha Lamba, Ameesha Patel, Raveena Tandon, Raima Sen, Sonal Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal and Mandira Bedi.
