Garknit FairGarknit FairLike every year, the ‘GarKnit-X 12th’, a major international trade show on apparel, knitting, leather and jute technology begins at Milan Mela ground near Kolkata from tomorrow.

Organized by ‘Vardaan Events Pvt. Ltd.’ the three-day fair will see a massive display of mainly garment related machinery by both international and domestic brands. Leading players in this sector have already set-up their stalls at the venue to present their updated technology to woo buyers.

Since Kolkata is a gateway of the North-Eastern region, Bangladesh and Nepal, the fair is of great importance for the textile and garment manufacturers there. Buyers from different parts of the country are likely to visit the exhibition.

Manufacturers, particularly upcoming entrepreneurs in the sector are becoming interested on adopting new technology for the respective units. The fair will offer them a suitable opportunity to select the best particularly in the context of ‘Make in India’ campaign initiated by the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi.
