Arvind Lifestyle Brands Limited, a subsidiary of Arvind Ltd. opened its 6000 sq ft first Gap store at Oberoi Mall in Goregaon to sell its products, including denim and apparel for men, women and kids.

Oliver Kaye, chief executive officer, Gap, claimed that there may be many other foreign retailers but Gap is expanding fast and will have the highest number of stores in the country as the company plans to be the fastest growing international retailer in the country.

Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh gave the city’s fashion landscape a makeover as he launches the city’s first Gap store at Oberoi Mall. He was joined by J. Suresh, MD and CEO, Arvind Lifestyle Brands and Oliver Kaye, Business Head, Gap India.

Arvind Ltd. is India’s largest integrated textile player and one of the oldest groups in the Textile Business in the country.
