IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn 2016 Starts From 14th Oct

The 42nd edition of IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn 2016 showcasing Indian handicrafts and gifts will be attended by 2,900 exhibitors from all over India. It will be held from October 14 to 18, 2016 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Delhi. Over 2,000 designs and styles will be exhibited at the expo spread over fourteen halls covering 190,000 square metres of space.

The expo will bring an entire range of home, lifestyle and fashion, with traditional artistic finish in perfect harmony with modern designs and contemporary colours. It is a distinctive business platform for importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, fashion designers, potential franchises, mail order companies and a few more to source an unparalleled variety of handicrafts, gifts and lifestyle products, from a cross section of handmade manufacturers from India.

“For smooth functioning of the mega event, one of the member exporters Naved Ur Rehman of Zed Sons, Moradabad has been nominated as president of the IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn 2016. A stalwart in the business of houseware, decoratives and gift items for the last 36 years, he has made remarkable achievements,” Rakesh Kumar, executive director of Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) said.

More than 5,000 buyers are expected to source their requirement at this fair. Buyers from countries like US, UK, Japan, France, Italy, Canada, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, China and many more have already confirmed their visit. Buyers from Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Central Asia, Africa and Middle East too will be sourcing their requirements.

Apart from the presence of a large number of overseas buyers, a sizeable number of domestic volume retail buyers such as Westside, Shoppers Stop, Hometown, Lifestyle and renowned e-commerce companies like eBay, Flipkart, Bed Bath More, Pepperfry, Urban Ladder, Fab Furnish, and many more have confirmed their participation at the fair.
