Saudi Textile and Fashion Expo 2025 – Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the event commenced with opening speeches from prominent dignitaries and industry leaders. Filiz Karakul, General Manager of the Pyramid Group, set the tone for the occasion, followed by remarks from H.E. Mustafa Unal, Consul General of the Republic of Turkiye in Jeddah. Gıyasettin Eyüpkoca, President of the Apparel Committee of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, and Martina Bandte Geb Conzelmann, President of the Gesamtmasche Association, also addressed the gathering.
Further enriching the inaugural session were speeches by Ihab Al-Qadri, Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Industry; Karim Khouja, Representative of the Damascus Chamber of Industry; Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, Consul General of India; and Saad Mishel Al Otaibi, Director of the Jeddah Chamber.

Their collective presence underscored the global importance of the exposition, highlighting collaboration, innovation, and cross-border partnerships in the textile and fashion industries.
The Consul General of India in Jeddah, Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, inaugurated the Saudi Textile and Fashion Exposition 2025, which is being held from 25–28 September 2025 at Jeddah.
On this occasion, the Consul General, accompanied by Saad Mosahl Alotaiby, Board Member of the Jeddah Chamber, and senior officials of the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC India), inaugurated the Indian Pavilion at the Expo.
The Consul General also visited the booths, interacted with exhibitors, and encouraged Indian participants to actively leverage the fast-growing opportunities in the Saudi Arabian market.
This year, the Indian Pavilion features more than 50 Indian companies from the textile and apparel sector. The participants are showcasing a wide range of products—ranging from fabrics and garments to sustainable fashion solutions—demonstrating India’s capabilities in quality, design, innovation, and sustainability.
The participation highlights the growing synergies between India and Saudi Arabia in trade and investment, especially in the textile and apparel sector. With Saudi Arabia emerging as a key market in the Middle East, Indian exporters are increasingly looking at long-term collaborations that will boost bilateral trade and create mutual growth opportunities.
