YKK introduces a Snap Button (Item Code: SKL30), now available to the market, combining a sleek low-profile design with reduced weight while delivering the performance and quality expected from YKK.
Snap buttons consist of a visible top part (cap) and underparts (socket, stud, post). The newly developed Low-profiled Lightweight Snap features an ultra-slim underpart design and incorporates a plastic spring to ensure optimal functionality. Compared to the conventional Ring-spring Snap (Item Code: SK35), the new snap achieves approximately 16%1 reduction in thickness and about 14% reduction in weight, offering a flat, minimalistic appearance that enhances garment design and expands customer choices. This new product is ideal for activewear and other applications where thinness and lightness are essential.
