Workshop On Art & Craft On Textiles At ATDC

Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC) in collaboration with Pidilite Industries Ltd. has organized a three-day workshop recently on Art & Craft in Textiles at its Faridabad campus. More than 50 students attended the workshop.

The aim of the workshop was to enhance the knowledge and creativity of students and develop their interest on creating decorative textile and other articles, train students in myriad skills viz. making panel paintings on canvas fabric, tie and dye prints using acrylic paint and brushes etc.

Workshop On Art & Craft On Textiles At ATDC

Speaking on this occasion, Tarundeep Gill, principal, of the centre said “Activities like these help develop interest of students in extra-curricular work and build entrepreneurial motive among them.” Meeta Rampal, expert teacher, Pidilite said, “It has always been a good experience to teach the students various techniques of paining on fabric and non- fabric articles for creating new things.”

ATDC has emerged as India’s largest vocational training network for the apparel sector with around 200 ATDCs including 65 ATDC vocational institutes and over 135 ATDC- SMART centres. Spreading across 22 states & 85 cities Pan India.
