Ethnic menswear brand Tasva has opened its first Kolkata and second West Bengal store at Woodburn Park, Elgin Road. The first store is located in Siliguri.
Varun Sharma, head of retail operations at Tasva, said, “Kemon acho Kolkata. Excited to announce our new Tasva | Aditya Birla Group x Tarun Tahiliani store in Kolkata, located at Elgin Road! Kolkata, come discover our exceptional service and exquisite designs,” in a LinkedIn post.
The Kolkata store has an expansive facade and offers Bandhgalas, Kurta jackets, Sherwanis, and accessories for special occasions, weddings, and festivals.
The interior features hues of gold and natural wood accents, and the store décor is designed to reimagine traditional Indian art for the Indian man.
Tasva is owned by Indivinity Clothing, a partnership between fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani and Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd (ABFRL), and opened its first brick-and-mortar store in 2021 in Bengaluru.
According to its website, currently, the brand retails from over 60 exclusive brand outlets in 30 cities across India, its own online store, and various other e-commerce multi-brand platforms.
ABFRL is a fashion retail company owned by the Aditya Birla Group, which also owns several other brands like Pantaloons, Peter England, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, etc.
