Panel Discussion By IAF As part of the Texprocess Forum programme, the International Apparel Federation (IAF) is organising a panel discussion titled ‘Making technology work in fashion’ in Frankfurt on May five.

The panelists will be, among others, Murat Aydin, owner Modega from Turkey; Guido Brackelsberg, founder, Setlog Group, Germany and Günter Veit, president Veit Group also from Germany.

The discussion will be introduced by Rahul Mehta, president of IAF who is also president of CMAI, India. It will be moderated by Matthijs Crietee, secretary general of the IAF.

“The Texprocess Fair provides the apparel industry with a great overview of what improvements to our industry technology makes possible,” IAF said in a press release.

The panel discussion will focus on the actual implementation of technology by the industry and only when companies are really able to use the technology will they earn back their investment,” IAF added. It is important to provide a platform for industry wide discussions on a global level about themes that are crucial to the continuous improvement of the industry, The federation said.
