LFWEmerging fashion designer Manish Bansal is all set to create a buzz yet again by showcasing his Winter/Festive collection inspired by British Bulldog at Lakmé Fashion Week to be held at Palladium Hotel, Mumbai from August 26.

Winter-Festive 15-16 is a revival of British Bulldog and Union Jack as a long lasting symbol. The collection draws a parallel from a historically context and expresses a more contemporary take on primitive-violent-macho image of this breed. The collection integrates the bulldog imagery in felted and embroidered forms, one is more British and the latter is more Asian, to show the coming together of techniques.

LFWThis London College of Fashion alumnus with his every collection to challenge a strict framework of rules and regulations that menswear has and experimented within boundaries using his design sensibilities.

Manish has developed a distinctive signature in his designs with a modern take on tailoring and sportswear, which truly reflects contemporary social milieu. His design methodology is expressed through surface ornamentation and creative use of textile, which also sets him apart.

Manish after launching his label in London and Dubai followed by a successful India debut early this year with his last collection at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2015 in March was widely praised by Indian audiences. His design philosophy is spun around socio-economic viewpoints that have the potential to start dialogues.
