Mafatlal Industries has launched new range of sarees in 25 different qualities and wide number of colours and designs, under the brand name Thavari by Mafatlal.

The company has already released its first consignment to saree dealers or retailers. A pan India distributor or sole selling distributor, Thavari by Mafatlal & Company at Surat is conceptualized.

The initial response to the new range has remained encouraging owing to the sarees’ quality, designs, prints and packaging at affordable prices.

Commenting on the launch, MB Raghunath, president (marketing & sales) of Mafatlal Industries informed that the company’s overall sales volume is over 100 million metres per annum.

This new roll out is an extension of the womenswear fabric segment, which will offer more products over a period of few months, with the introduction of leggings and lingerie, Raghunath added.
