The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) has officially announced the postponement of the 3rd North India Garment Fair (NIGF) 2025, originally scheduled for May 27–29, 2025 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi.
This decision comes after careful consideration of current regional tensions and feedback from both exhibitors and trade visitors. The revised dates for the North India Garment Fair 2025 will be announced in due course.
Speaking on the matter, Santosh Katariya, President of CMAI, stated,
“In light of the recent border conflict with Pakistan that has primarily impacted the Northern region, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the event. We consulted exhibitors and buyers, and with current weak market sentiments, this was a necessary move.”
He further clarified that the event is not cancelled but merely deferred, with a strong intent to reschedule it when the market and regional situation improve.
The North India Garment Fair is a key event for manufacturers, exporters, retailers, and buyers in the garment and apparel industry. Hosted by CMAI, it offers a platform for B2B networking, sourcing, and showcasing the latest trends in Indian apparel manufacturing.
Despite this setback, CMAI reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the garment industry and facilitating meaningful trade opportunities. The association encourages stakeholders to stay connected for updates on the revised schedule of NIGF 2025.
