386 Indian Exporters to Participate in Heimtextil ’17

386 Indian Exporters to Participate in Heimtextil '17

One of the world’s biggest trade fairs for home and contract textiles, ‘Heimtextil 2017’, which is schedule to take place from January 10-13 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, organized by Messe Frankfurt. Around 386 home furnishing companies from India are participating in the fair.

Apart from many medium-level companies, big names of Indian textile industry – Reliance Industries, Trident Ltd, SEL Manufacturing Co, Indo Rama Synthetic (India) Ltd, Sutlej Textiles & Industries Ltd, BSL Ltd, Siyaram Silk Mills, KG Denim, ALPS Industries Ltd etc. will also be participating at the event. In totality, over 2,885 exhibitors from 65 countries will display their products at Heimtextil 2017.

Shree Shyam Exports, Panipat, which will mainly display rugs and bathmats, is participating for the second time at the show. Vikas Bansal of the company said, “In our products, we have beautifully played with colours while basic fabric, cotton will remain the same.”

From Bangladesh, 23 companies will participate in the show. Bangladesh Terry Towel and Linen Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BTTLMEA) chairman, Hossain Mehmood and director, Mian Uddin Ahmed are also very upbeat about the event as they believe that there are ample opportunities for Bangladesh at this event. Pakistan, one of the main competitors of India in home furnishing business is also actively participating in the event with 200 participants. There are 7 companies from Vietnam too.
