Texprocess, the leading international trade fair for processing textile and flexible materials, launches a Texprocess Pavilion at Techtextil India in Mumbai, from September 13. For the first time, international exhibitors of garment-manufacturing and textile processing technologies will have the opportunity to present their innovations under the Texprocess brand in India. The pavilion is organized by Messe Frankfurt India.

Messe Frankfurt currently holds two international shows under the Texprocess brand in Frankfurt and Atlanta. “Texprocess brings together the garment-manufacturing and textile processing industry from all around the world making it the leading fair for the sector. We want our customers worldwide to benefit from the opportunities Texprocess offers them to present their products and accelerate business growth. Setting up the Texprocess Pavilion at Techtextil India was a logical step in our brand expansion strategy as India is one of the most promising textile markets”, Olaf Schmidt, vice president Textiles and Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt said.

The Indian textile processing and technical markets both offer comprehensive growth potential. In 2015, exports of German sewing and garment production technology to India went up by around 28 per cent compared to 2014 making Germany one of the most important countries delivering equipment to Indian market.
