Some members of Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) today met Tamil Nadu BJP president, Tamilisai Soundararajan during her visit to Tirupur and submitted a memorandum to expedite Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with EU, Canada and Australia to help double the export from the state and provide employment to more workers.

At the meeting, it was also requested for construction of ESI hospital with all facilities in Tirupur, apart from clearing TUFS pending claims and revocation of TUFS blockout period.

The advantages of manufacturing synthetic garments were also discussed with her at the meeting.
