Anar Patel and Vandana Agarwal, winners of Interior Lifestyle Awards 2015 will be showcasing their winning collection representing the finest craftsmanship from Gujarat at the world’s most renowned Trade Fair for Home Furnishing and Textiles – Heimtextil 2016 to be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from January 12, according to organizer Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt.Ltd.

Anar, daughter of Gujarat’s chief minister Anandiben Patel, and Vandana have been involved in championing the cause of artisans for over a decade. The event is slated to take place over five days with over 2700 participants from around the world (including 350 Indian companies) showcasing and forecasting new furnishing and design trends.

Anar Patel, director and co-founder of Craftroots, said: “Heimtextil fair has been a great platform to promote the rich craft of Gujarat. Through this platform Craftroots will be connecting to the world and sharing the ideas of merging modern aesthetics and age old craft techniques to create innovative craft based products. In real terms it is a wider platform for the artisans.”
