Tirupur Knit ShowExhibitors from Germany, Portugal, Poland, Japan and China had participated in the 15th edition of the Knit Show which got off to a vibrant start in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu on August 9. Around 400 stalls were set up at the fair where manufacturers including the domestic ones showcased the latest models of textile machinery, fabrics, printing inks and apparel accessories.

Organised by Knit Show Trade Exposition, the three-day event is designed to provide a platform to link manufacturers of machinery, inks and other accessories with the buyers in Tirupur knitwear industry. The buyers get the advantage of choosing from among a wide range of products, organiser sources said.

Some of the attractions were latest versions of automatic screen printing, knitting and embroidery machines, eco-friendly microbial control and protection compounds for natural and synthetic textiles as well as fibres, printing waste water treatment systems for small and medium enterprises, zips and fasteners and fabric printing inks

This year, the show saw a considerable increase in the participation with 90,000 sq.ft. utilized to set up the stalls against 56,000 sq.ft. used last year.
