Over 250 delegates from 12 countries had participated in the first international Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Conference organised at The Lalit, Sahar in Mumbai on May 22.
Theme of the conference was ‘Strong partnership for success’ and the congregation initiated new partnership and valuable discussion as India is the country with the highest number of GOTS certified facilities worldwide.
The participants included international brands and retailers, Indian brands and exporters from the Indian sub-continent, buying agents, manufacturers of textile and testing laboratories etc.
Experts in the field made their presentations covering various aspects of the segment and suggested measures to offer a quality product with the help of the modern technology.
