The Confucius Institute, the fourth of its kind in Kenya, was officially launched at Moi University located in Eldoret town of Kenya’s western region.

The institute which has been founded in partnership with Shanghai-based Donghua University leads in China’s textile technology and has advantages in textile science and engineering.

The institute is also expected to lead to more cooperation in the fields of textile engineering and fashion design.
