Amazon India Fashion Week From October 14Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW), Spring-Summer edition hosted by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) will run from October 14 next, while Autumn-Winter edition will begin from March 16, 2016. Both the events will continue for five days.

Sunil Sethi, president at FDCI said, “We are delighted to announce the dates for the next two seasons of the AIFW”.

“We have established a landmark completing more than a decade-and-a-half in creating a global handprint for the Indian fashion industry and we aspire to take progressive strides in the coming years”, Sethi added.

Vikas Purohit, head, Amazon Fashion, India said, “After a successful conclusion of the Amazon India Fashion Week, we look forward to the upcoming two seasons”.

FDCI, is the apex body of fashion design in India, represented by over 350 members.

Founded on the premise of promoting, nurturing and representing the best of fashion and design talent in the country, its prime objective is to propagate the business of fashion.
