In textile segment, Jayshree Textiles reported a marginal uptake in sales at Rs 336 crore during the quarter under review and here also EBITDA reduced to Rs 35 crore from Rs 50 crore from lower linen fabric realisations.

Overall ABNL sales increased even more slowly at 1.11 per cent to Rs 6,539.35 crore from Rs 6,467.50 crore from the previous fiscal’s third quarter.

ABNL reported a net profit rise of 6.62 per cent from the year ago quarter rise in its December quarter to Rs 368.14 crore thanks to higher revenue and lower employee costs.
