Fashion-tech brand NEWME has achieved a major retail milestone with the launch of its new store in Vadodara, marking the company’s 25th store in India. With the latest opening, the brand now operates across 14 cities nationwide, further strengthening its omnichannel expansion strategy.
The Vadodara launch also expands NEWME’s footprint in Gujarat to four stores, including two outlets in Surat and one in Ahmedabad.
Speaking on the milestone, Sumit Jasoria, Co-founder and CEO of NEWME, said, “Opening our 25th store is more than just a retail milestone. What started as a digital-first idea has now grown into a truly omnichannel fashion movement powered by community, culture, and constant innovation. This milestone gives us even more confidence to accelerate our offline expansion aggressively across India.”
NEWME currently operates a mix of high-street and mall stores across major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Surat, Indore, and Jaipur, among others.
The brand claims to have served over 22 lakh customers across India and continues to scale its offline presence through its company-owned, company-operated (COCO) retail model.
In addition to retail expansion, NEWME has also strengthened its quick-commerce strategy with NEWME Zip, which is currently operational in Delhi and Bengaluru.
Jasoria added, “As we continue to scale, our focus remains on building deeper access across Tier 1 and Tier 2 markets, strengthening our quick-commerce ecosystem through NEWME Zip, and continuing to innovate across both retail and technology.”
Looking ahead, NEWME plans to launch more than 25 additional stores by the end of 2026 across high-potential markets including Vizag, Ludhiana, Bhopal, Agartala, Kolkata, and several emerging cities in the North-East region.
