GTE Ahmedabad 2025, The 38th Garment Technology Expo co-organized with the Lace & Trims Show, concluded its third day with an impressive attendance of approximately 9,700 B2B visitors. This large industry participation further solidified the expo’s reputation as an influential and commercially significant destination for garment and apparel technology in the Western region.
Jointly organized by Garment Technology Expo Pvt. Ltd. (GTE) and India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML), the event saw excellent participation across all three days. Exhibitors received consistent buyer traffic, a high volume of business inquiries, and meaningful interactions with manufacturers, exporters, and sourcing professionals.
Commenting on the successful attendance, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Exposition Mart Ltd., said that this strong level of B2B participation demonstrates the rapidly growing demand for technological upgradation among MSME and medium-sized garment manufacturers. He added that the event has created an effective bridge between global machinery suppliers and India’s rapidly growing apparel clusters.
Exhibitors appreciated the business impact of the event.
Rohit Gupta, MD, Balaji Sewing Machines Pvt. Ltd., said, “This is a great platform to showcase our products. Our stall received a good number of visitors, and this event, specifically tailored to the garment industry, has given our business a significant boost.”

Here we meet our potential customers, end users, garment manufacturers, factories, etc. I wish GTE continued progress.”

Visitors shared positive feedback on the relevance and value of the event. Bipin Kumar of MK Sports highlighted GTE as an excellent platform for the garment industry, especially MSMEs and startups. Designer Manthan Shiroy noted that professionals can gain valuable insights into new trends, techniques, and technologies. Trupti K. Mahadik from ATDC Surat emphasized that GTE’s category-focused format creates strong opportunities for exhibitors, B2B buyers, and emerging businesses, adding that more such exhibitions are needed.
Over three days, GTE Ahmedabad showcased over 225 brands spread across 50,000 square feet, showcasing state-of-the-art garment machinery, digital printing systems, embroidery solutions, automation technology, as well as a wide selection of laces, trims, and apparel manufacturing essentials. This edition further strengthened India’s garment manufacturing supply chain by providing a complete sourcing ecosystem under one roof.
Ambrish Chopra, Director of GTE, shared that the response from the industry has exceeded expectations. He added that the collaboration between GTE and IEML has enabled the event to provide a high-value, smooth business experience for both exhibitors and visitors.
The organizers announced the next two major editions of the GTE:
• GTE Greater Noida, to be held from 20–23 March 2026 at India Expo Centre & Mart, will feature larger and more diverse technology exhibits.
• This will be followed by the Bengaluru edition in September 2026, which will strengthen the platform’s expansion into the dynamic textile and apparel clusters of South India.
Both editions will be co-organized with the Lace & Trims Show, ensuring a comprehensive display of machinery, accessories, decorative materials, and basic inputs essential for the growth of the garment industry. The upcoming exhibitions will provide the industry with greater exposure, deeper sourcing opportunities, and a holistic view of the entire garment and apparel industry ecosystem, further strengthening the industry’s innovation, competitiveness, and global production capabilities.
