The 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on September 17, 2024, at the NITRA Campus in Ghaziabad. During this meeting, members formed NITRA’s Council of Administration for the year 2024-25. They unanimously appointed Sh. Vidit Jain, Joint Managing Director of Pasupati Spg. & Wvg. Mills Ltd., as the new Chairman of the NITRA Council of Administration. Sh. Sandeep Hora, CEO of Aeronav Industrial Safety Appliances, will serve as NITRA’s Deputy Chairman. The Council also elected Shri Nitin Nolakha, Joint Managing Director of Nitin Spinners Ltd., as Vice-Chairman.
The new Chairman and his team expressed their gratitude while taking over from NITRA’s outgoing Chairman, Sh. Raj Kumar Jain, Managing Director of Zonac Knitting Machines (P) Ltd. The Director General of NITRA thanked the outgoing Chairman for his continuous guidance and inspiration during his tenure. He also highlighted that NITRA achieved new milestones under his leadership, including handling eight sponsored projects, recording significant income, and an increase in admissions at NITRA Technical Campus from 182 students last year to 279 this year.
