Lenzing Group, leading global producer of wood-based specialty fibers, partnered with Gokul Tex, a 30-year-old fabric maker and a leading enterprise from Surat, Gujarat, to showcase their latest fabric collection made of TENCEL™ fibers at 4th CMAI FAB SHOW 2024. The event, held from April 15th to 17th, 2024, took place in Mumbai, marking a significant debut for their collaborative efforts in pioneering sustainable fashion for Indian market.
Gokul Tex, renowned for its expertise in digital printed fabrics, has embraced Lenzing’s sustainable fibers since 2010. Their collaboration at CMAI FAB SHOW 2024 demonstrates their collective dedication to offering environmentally responsible solutions to meet the evolving needs of the textile market.
The fabric collection made exclusively of TENCEL™ fibers brings a perfect blend of aesthetics, performance, and sustainability[1] as key features. Ranging from the luxurious TENCEL™ lyocell fibers to the pioneering TENCEL™ LUXE branded lyocell filament yarn, Lenzing’s products have enabled Gokul Tex to create cutting-edge fabrics meeting the sensibilities of Indian market. The collection saw a great response from the visitors which included young brands and labels, distributors and garment makers.
The 3-day event saw more than 200+ exhibitors and 12000+ trade visitors providing an exceptional platform for Lenzing group & others to present their newest offerings and explore the diverse needs of the customers and network with key industry players.
