The 55th Annual General Meeting of The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) was held on 25th September 2018 at its Regd. Office of the Association in Mumbai. The Association Conducted the Election to the Managing Committee as well as to the Regional Committees for the Years 2018-19 & 2019-20 and the Results were Declared at the said ACM.
Immediately after the ACM, the 1st Meeting of the Managing Committee was held to Appoint the President of the Association for the next 2 Years. The Newly Elected Members Unanimously Re-Elected Mr Rahul Mehta, as President consecutively for the 7th Year Term. Members of the Managing Committee placed on record his yeoman services and Achievements of CMAI during the tenure of Shri Rahul Mehta. Members also expressed that during the last 12 Years, despite the troubled times through which the Apparel Industry has passed, Mr Mehta, under his able Stewardship and close Liaison with the Govt. of India, including Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of Finance, and other Govt. Organisations and Institutions, the Association has not only attained greater heights and recognition but also increased the Association’s services to the Members of the Association.
While thanking the Members of the Managing committee for having reposed Confidence in him, Mr Mehta assured that he will continue to do his best in the service of the Apparel Industry.
