Manipur-born accessory designer based in London Mawi Keivom, whose works have been sported by top celebrities across the world has now tied up with a fashion e-store based in India.
Bollywood stars like Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukaone as well as global celebs such as Rihanna and Selena among others have been spotted wearing the designer.
In her recent collaboration, Mawi has teamed up with online Indo-British store Koovs to create ‘MAWI x KOOVS’ an exclusive line of jewellery, bags and T-shirts.
“For a while my focus was first about setting foot in London laying the groundwork and doing more international stuff. Now we have become an established global name and I am amazed at the huge fan base in India. It seems like a right time to enter the market here,” Mawi who was on a visit in New Delhi recently said.
