In a deal similar to signed by another ecommerce marketplace, Snapdeal, Shopclues too has signed a partnership with FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) to start the ‘Women Entrepreneurship (WE) ecommerce’ initiative. Shopclues will educate, enable and empower FLO members to use the online platform to increase their business and enhance market access.

“India is the fastest growing ecommerce market in the region and we need to further encourage women to foray into this area. This initiative will facilitate the process of women empowerment by providing them a digital platform to promote their businesses,” Vinita Bimbhet, FLO president said.

Under the initiative, Shopclues will organise a workshop to train FLO members to facilitate the process of women empowerment by providing them a digital platform to promote their businesses.
