Telangana IT minister, K T Rama Rao has inaugurated Juki Sewing Machine Training Centre at Textile Park in Sircilla District of the state. About 200 women will be given training at the centre through 40 sewing machines set up there.

The minister also asked the officials concerned to arrange some more machines so that more women could be trained and urged the women to utilize this opportunity to fullest.

The IL&FS organisation of Tamil Nadu along with the state government will actively participate in the training programme. The state government has further sanctioned Rs. 30 crore for the establishment of Apparel Park in the district to provide self-employment opportunities to many families those are dependent on handloom industry for living.
