In order to improve its local sales organisation in India in technical textiles, Swiss-based Santex Group has named Jude Britto as head of sales – technical textiles and emerging technologies.
Britto has been associated with Santex Engineering India, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Santex Group since nearly 11 years, Santex in release said.
“This new sales setup allows Santex to be in direct contact with its partners and discuss potential new projects and at the same time ensure continuous support and service,” it added.
The representation of Santex in India, FabIndia / Knitfab, will still be responsible for the textile segment mainly for knits.
Santex AG, established 1982, is one of the leading manufacturers of textile machines for knit fabrics finishing “The subsidiaries in China and India serve the most important markets in the world with Swiss engineered quality products,” the release added.
