Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), a corporate giant with business across several industries including textiles, has received an award in the CSR category at the 17th Platts Global Energy Award 2015 held recently in New York, according to a statement released by the company.

RIL bagged the award beating 11 other finalists from all over the world for CSR. Reliance Foundation has  touched  the  lives  of  more  than  four  million  people  across  India  in  more than 5,500 villages and urban locations.

Platts, considered to be one of the most prestigious awards in the energy category, is conferred to companies showing leadership and commitment in its business.
