CMAI’s 3rd NIGF 2025 In New Delhi Draws To A Close With Exceptional Outcomes

The 3rd North India Garment Fair (NIGF 2025), organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), held from November 25 to 27, 2025 at the Yashobhoomi New Delhi concluded on a highly successful note, exceeding expectations. The event brought together more than 125 exhibitors, presenting a wide range of menswear, womenswear, and kidswear.

NIGF 2025 helped facilitate MSMEs access to new business opportunities, launch collections ahead of the festive season, and foster collaborations, while also serving as an important annual meet-point for industry networking and knowledge exchange. Further, by bringing in a dedicated Tirupur manufacturers’ pavilion, the 3rd edition of NIGF 2025 deepened North-South collaboration in India’s garment sector, reflecting current shifts in sourcing and distribution patterns.

This year’s fair brought together leading garment manufacturers and brands from across India’s major apparel hubs, including Mumbai, Surat, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Tirupur, Ludhiana, Kolkata, and Delhi/NCR. Some of the leading retail outlets that visited the fair includedGupta Creations, Delhi; Narang Garments, Delhi; Ravi Exclusif & Janaab, Amritsar; A to Z Kids House, Hisar; Sagar, Sikar amongst many others.

Over 2800 trade buyers from across the country attended the fair across the three days making it a significant event for the industry. For the first time, a dedicated pavilion showcased select manufacturers from Tirupur who received an outstanding response  highlighting the industry’s pan-India strength and diversity.

Witnessing the growth of the regional garment market industry, Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI, expressed, “The successful conclusion of the 3rd NIGF 2025 highlights our objective to increase footprints of the domestic garment manufacturers in Northern region and strengthen retail supply networks. By addressing market demand through such focused events, we are committed to support MSME businesses with growth opportunities in unexplored markets.”

Uday Desai, Director, HDR Import Export, Mumbai, an exhibitor, expressed, “We have come to NIGF 2025 for the first time and we had a very good experience, with very encouraging response from the customers across North India. The show was awesome and we have got very good business outcome through distributors, agents, wholesalers. We are thankful to CMAI for hosting such a successful event.”

Avsar Sarvaiya, Director, Mohilya Couture Pvt Ltd, Surat, another exhibitor stated, “We participated at this fair for the first time and were able to meet good clients from the North. We also managed to get a lot of business. Moreover, we got 10x more business than what we had anticipated which included export orders.”

Gowtham Muthukkumaran T, VP-Sales, Karunya Knitwears, Tiruppur, added, “We are looking forward to doing more CMAI fairs like this one as it has opened up new avenues and perspectives. Being at the show has been a great learning experience for us and we are now geared up with a fresh approach to work closely with the regional retailers. By coming here, we got to network, know new people, form new friendships and also learned to do our business better. Overall, it was a great experience and from the organization side how easy everything was, and most of it was taken care of. All in all, it was a great experience.”

Chirayu Goel, Partner, Akanksha Fabrics (Brand Trufit), Ludhiana, said, “This was our second time at NIGF 2025 and both times it has been a good experience. We are looking forward to participating again. The experience has been fruitful since the ongoing season is winter wear and we deal only in winter wear, I got some new buyers who were looking for ready stock. And through the business networking session, we met new agents and distributors in unrepresented territories.”

With its growing scale, wider national participation, and strengthened buyer–seller engagement, the 3rd North India Garment Fair has further cemented its position as a key industry event for the region. CMAI’s continued focus on empowering MSMEs and facilitating collaboration ensures that NIGF 2025 will remain a vital platform for driving growth in India’s apparel sector.
