United Colors of Benetton Group, a global fashion brand based in Italy, has added three new top managers to management team for expanding its key brands and retail growth.
Marco Messini will join as the new chief sales and distribution officer, while John Mollanger will be the new chief product and marketing officer, and Piero Maldini will take over as the new retail director of United Colors of Benetton. All the three new recruits have great experience in the world of franchising, wholesale, and retail to help support the group’s management team.
Messini has a decade’s worth of experience in VF Corporation, where he held the role of vice president of EMEA franchising for all of the group’s brands. Mollanger has worked as the head of product and marketing for Asics in Japan. He also held similar positions in Nike and Puma in the US and Europe. He has widespread knowledge of consumers and major international markets.
Piero Maldini was operating officer of Holding dei Giochi, the retail arm of Giochi Preziosi group, where he strengthened the group’s leadership in Europe.
Benetton Group is one of the best-known fashion companies in the world, with a network of over 6,000 stores.
