Integrated Processing Development Scheme has been implemented by the Ministry of Textiles since the 12th Five Year Plan to enhance global competitiveness of the Indian textile industry through environmentally friendly processing standards and technologies. The scheme aims to address pollution challenges in the textile processing sector by supporting the establishment of new Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs), upgradation of existing CETPs in processing clusters, and development of new processing parks. While the scheme was actively implemented till 2021, it has since been continued only to meet committed liabilities.
The details of the projects approved under the scheme and their present status is as below:

The parks approved under the Scheme are implementing Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology. Another technology being implementing is Multi Effect Evaporator (MEE) which further helps in recovery of treated water.
