Mr. Prahalad Rai Agarwal has been appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Colombia in Kolkata.
The president, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee has approved the appointment.
A letter to this effect was issued by Joyoshi Das Gupta, OSD & under secretory to the government of West Bengal on July 7, 2014.
In the letter Das Gupta said, “I am directed to state that you have been appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Colombia in Kolkata with consular jurisdiction over the state of West Bengal vide Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India’s letter number DIII/460/CF-14/2011 dated 03.06.2014.
