The State of Jharkhand is working towards creating awareness among existing and prospective investors and taking a step forward, to showcase and deliberate various investment opportunities and key business reforms carried out in the recent past. To attract investments, the State of Jharkhand is organising its maiden “Momentum Jharkhand” Global Investors’ Summit in Ranchi on 16 – 17 February 2017 with the support of Ministry of External Affairs.The National Partner of this event is CII.
It is also designed to have Sectoral Seminars during the event across eight focus sectors. One of the Seminars is on “Textile & Footwear” scheduled on 17 February 2017 in Khelgaon, Ranchi.
The Seminar will focus on Fibres for the next generations; Nano technology in textiles; Prospects and challenges: Handicraft Industry; Government Policy Interventions in Textile Industries; Enhancing Competitiveness and Strengthening MSMES in Textile Industry; Opportunities in Jharkhand Textile Park; Impacts of GST on Textile Industry; Smart Textiles for Modern Environments; Prospects and challenges in Hosiery Industry and Tussar silk production in Jharkhand.
