The Mafatlal has been awarded Country’s Number One Brand in 2014 under India’s Best Textile Company category by the Number One Brand Awards Council. The award was presented recently at a ceremony in Mumbai.
In a statement, Rajiv Dayal, managing director of Mafatlal Industries, the flagship company of the Arvind Mafatlal Group, said, “We are delighted to receive this award.”
A pioneer for quality textiles in India since 1905, Mafatlal Industries’ product portfolio consists of yarn dyed and piece dyed shirting, and fibre dyed suiting in various polyester, viscose, cotton and woollen blends.
The company also offers voiles, prints, linens, bleached white fabrics, rubia, poplins, cambric, value added and fashion denims, school uniform fabrics, corporate/ institutional uniforms, bed and bath linen, and readymades.
Mafatlal has two vertically integrated manufacturing facilities at Nadiad and Navsari in Gujarat. Its sales volume is over 80 million metres per annum.
