ITMA ASIA + CITME 2024 FEATURES A BIGGER CUTTING-EDGE TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY

ITMA ASIA + CITME 2024, Asia’s premier textile machinery platform, has opened in Shanghai, showcasing cutting-edge technology in textile and garment manufacturing. This five-day event, held at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre from 14 to 18 October, spans six halls with over 1,700 exhibitors from 22 countries, featuring automation, digital innovations, and sustainable solutions.

Organized by CEMATEX and Chinese partners, this year’s exhibition has grown by 9% in space, focusing on advanced and sustainable manufacturing. Product sectors include spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing, and nonwovens, with dyeing and finishing occupying the largest area.

With exhibitors increasing by 12% from the previous edition, the show highlights innovations from leading manufacturers, mostly from China, followed by Germany, Japan, and Italy. The exhibition is open daily, closing on October 18 at 4 PM.
