Panwar said, “Panipat is well-known and appreciated all over the world for its handloom industry. We always try to encourage more and more people to get them involved in this sector and to their business. We tend to provide them the best of facilities for which the state government also implemented Enterprises Promotion Policy.”

The centre will also soon set up a facilitation centre for textiles and handloom industry with state-of-the-art facilities including a laboratory in Panipat. Irani also visited the cotton nylon and coir manufacturing unit in the district.
