Fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) is planning to open its new store in Aurangabad by this monsoon. The store will be located in Prozone Mall and spread over an area of more than 17,000 sq. ft. in the Tier II city.
The Tier II cities in India have become the target locations for apparel retailers. H&M itself has been focusing on smaller cities as well – at present, the bulk of the stores are located in key metros and Tier-I cities.
The latest varieties for women, men, teenagers and kids will be stocked in the Aurnagabad store.
Janne Einola, Country Manager, H&M India said that they are very exciting to continue the store expansion in the Indian market and they are looking forward “to welcoming customers to their new favourite fashion destination.”
Hennes & Mauritz has recently opened its latest store at Xperia Mall, Palava City, Dombivli (E), in Mumbai which makes a total of 32 H&M stores operational in India.
Additionally, the brand is also setting up a warehouse in Mumbai by 2018 end as it will help to augment its online operations in India.
