Gartex Texprocess India 2025 Concludes Successfully, Sets New Benchmarks in Textile Innovation and Sustainability
The 13th edition of Gartex Texprocess India, held from 21st to 23rd August 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, concluded on a triumphant note, reaffirming its status as India’s premier B2B tradeshow for garment and textile machinery. Organised at a time when India’s textile and apparel industry is undergoing rapid transformation, the event brought together over 15,790 visitors from 436 Indian cities and 31 countries spanning Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. It served as a dynamic platform for industry professionals to explore cutting-edge technologies, forge new business collaborations, and align with global trends in automation, sustainability, and textile innovation.
Gartex Texprocess India 2025, with over 200 exhibitors showcasing a wide spectrum of solutions—from garment manufacturing machinery and digital printing to embroidery, trims, accessories, and laundry care systems—the event was a hub of technological and material advancements. Exhibitors introduced breakthrough products and sustainable practices designed to improve production efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and meet evolving consumer expectations. The expo included specially curated zones such as The Denim Show, Screen Print India – Textiles, LeatherX Pavilion, and the Fabrics and Trims Show, making it a comprehensive showcase of the textile and apparel ecosystem.
Gartex Texprocess India 2025 was more than just a trade show—it was a strategic meeting point for knowledge-sharing and idea exchange. Key sessions like Denim Talks, and state-focused forums on Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, along with the Textile Care Forum, encouraged industry discussions on sustainable practices, policy opportunities, and technological innovation. Stakeholders from across the supply chain engaged in meaningful conversations about production standards, environmental responsibility, and digital transformation.
Gartex Texprocess India witnessed enthusiastic participation from leading industry players. Nirmit Dalmia, Director, R&B Denims Ltd, shared his excitement: “We’ve been exhibiting here for the past five years. It’s an excellent experience that helps us connect with our buyers, understand denim trends, and showcase new fabric and garment lines. The show is always a key point of engagement for us.” Amir Akhtar, Group President & CEO, Jindal Worldwide Ltd., highlighted important shifts in denim trends and the impact of international tariffs. He noted a clear preference for lighter, more fluid fabrics and emphasized the need for urgent resolution of tariff-related challenges affecting global trade.
Gartex Texprocess India also attracted first-time exhibitors like Fynd, a retail-tech company, whose Director & Sales Head – India, Deepak Teotia, stated: “It’s our first time at Gartex, and it’s been a rewarding experience. We interacted with more than 120 potential clients on the first day itself. The engagement has been fantastic.”
Automation solution providers also found the platform effective. Kiran Patil, Regional Manager, Morgan Tecnica, noted: “Gartex Texprocess India is one of the most well-organised shows we’ve participated in. The pre-show promotions translated into excellent footfall and meaningful conversations.”
From the laundry segment, Rakesh Dash, Sales Head, Orgaearth Cleansol Pvt Ltd, praised the event’s outreach, saying: “It’s a great platform for networking and increasing our local reach. We’re eager to return for future editions.” Visitors echoed similar sentiments. Sanjay Vala, Director, Kanchan Fabrics, shared how a system he discovered at Gartex helped improve pattern accuracy in uniform manufacturing. Sarfaraj Patel, MD, Pan Gujarat, expressed appreciation for the variety and depth of fabrics on display, calling the 2025 edition the best yet.
Looking ahead, the show will return with its Mumbai edition from 9–11 April 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Center, promising to extend its influence and connect with a broader segment of stakeholders. As India’s textile, denim, leather, and apparel sectors embrace new technologies, Gartex Texprocess India continues to act as a critical bridge between innovation and industry demand—cementing its role as a growth enabler and catalyst for transformation in the textile value chain.
