Eastern India Garment Manufacturers & Exporters’ Federation (EIGMEF), one of the major garment manufacturing body is ready to host the biggest garments expo of Eastern India – Indian Fashion Expo (IFE) 2018 at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre (BBCC), New Town, Kolkata. The fair is scheduled from 03 – 05 July, 2018 at the spacious and newly built convention centre.
Biswa Bangla Convention Centre (BBCC), one of the largest convention centres in South Asia has a height equivalent to an eight-storied building (95 feet) making it one of the tallest convention centres in this part of the globe. Besides, it has a main hall with a seating capacity of 3,200, six break-way session places and a 25,000-square feet exhibition hall. Another unique thing about the centre is that it has a hotel on its premises. It is built by West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited.
Over 300 guest retailers and intermediaries are invited at the Expo. With the vision of Expanding Boundaries and Transforming Horizons, Indian Fashion Expo 2018 has taken the initiative to provide individual & professional support over the long term to the manufacturers & promote the talent with related awards.
EIGMEF is the representative body of the organised Garment Manufacturers and Exporters of Eastern India. It is in the forefront of all progressive, developmental and representative issues of the Garment Industry for the last 15 years.
