Design Costume Presentation by IIFT at Khadi Vastra Utsav

IIFTDesigners of International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT), a pioneer fashion institute of the country, today will present special design costume at the Khadi Vastra Utsav being held with the ongoing India International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

Established in 1990 by country’s leading fashion technologist, Mr. Ratnadeep Lal, the institute imparts education in fashion designing, interior designing, apparel merchandising, garment manufacturing, textile designing, jewellery designing etc.

Over 8000 students have been trained in this institute through 70 worldwide centres in the last 25 years. It is also tied up with more than 800 fashion Export Houses and Buying Houses worldwide where trained professionals from the institute are working.

Mr. Lal, chairman of IIFT said “our designers are very excited when they are given chance to experiment with Khadi during the event. We are going to spread ‘Make in India’ massage through our creativity and national fabric Khadi to all over the world through IIFT portal and through our strong team of designers spread all over the world, Mr. Lal added.

Designer, Manish Saini said when the prime minister has taken initiative of ‘Make in India’, “why we designers will not give our input to popularize our fabrics on international and national platform.”
