Comoculture opens its first store in India by next Fiscal

Comoculture, lifestyle fashion retail brand of Dubai plans to enter India with the launch of its first store, early next fiscal, Comoculture Founder & CEO Peter Castella said.

Comoculture offers a combination of 40 handpicked emerging brands from Europe and are planning to open around five outlets in Indian metros during its first year of operation, Castella said. The brand is also planning to enter markets like Turkey, Russia and China next year with offline and online stores. The brand offers handpicked emerging brands in the mid-priced segment through its offline and online stores, he said.

The brand will enter India signing master franchise agreement with Retail One Solutions and Services Pvt Ltd, Peter said. “The idea is to set up a long term business opportunity and that scaling up is not a problem once the brand has been established in India,” Retail One Solutions and Services Managing Director Sumeet K Lal said.

The size range of the brand’s store is 800-1600 square feet, with its main product categories being designer and fashion jewellery, fashion watches, as well as beauty and lifestyle.

At present, the company has operations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Iran.
