Sankrail (Howrah) – based Akbar dresses which is manufacturing Boys & Girls wear, is now opening its new business hub at Kolkata International Haat on June two and three.
From this new unit, the company will explore its Brands – Akbar, Nesta and Modish for buyers throughout the country.
The haat was built to provide better marketing facilities and space in replacement of aged-old ‘Mangla Haat’, in Howrah. More than 7000 Ustagars (Tailors) have booked their spaces in this haat and 2000 of them had already started marketing from there, a company release said.
Ustagars appear to be very happy with this new concept of Haat which is fully airconditioned with all amenities for buyers. Various schemes have been implemented to promote business there, the release added.
Some more Hats are likly to be constructed around this Kolkata International site of which Global Hat, Regent International Hat etc. have already started marketing space there.
